How Scoring Works in Sky Obby
Your score in Sky Obby is the height you reach. The Height counter at the top of the game climbs as you climb, and the Best counter keeps the greatest height you have reached on this device.
There are no points for platforms, springs or tricks. Springs still matter, because a spring buys height faster than normal bouncing, and height is the whole score. Every run starts at zero, and your saved best is the target each time: climb past it and the Best counter takes the new number. The best is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data resets it to zero.
Mistakes That End a Sky Obby Run
Almost every Sky Obby run ends in one of two ways, a fall or a red neon brick, and most falls come from a few mistakes. The commonest is steering in long holds, which sends you further than you planned.
- Holding one direction too long: steering continues while you hold, so long holds overshoot small platforms. Short inputs are easier to correct.
- Resting on a brown block: it crumbles the moment you land, so a brown block is a single bounce, never a safe place to pause and plan.
- Wrapping by accident: drifting off the edge sends you to the far side of the screen. Wrap on purpose to reach a platform, and keep clear of the edges when your next platform sits near the middle.
- Chasing a spring into danger: a spring launches you high and the landing is harder to control. Check what sits above a spring before you take it, especially red neon bricks.
Climbing Higher Every Run
Sky Obby rewards looking ahead. While you are rising, watch the platforms above you and pick your next landing before you start to fall. Use the screen wrap to reach far platforms quickly, and treat brown blocks as a one time step. As you climb, platforms spread further apart, so springs become more important the higher you go.
Good to Know
How do you control Sky Obby?
Your character bounces on its own, so you only steer. Use the left and right arrow keys or A and D on a computer, or hold the left or right side of the screen on a phone or tablet to guide each landing.
Can you go through the side of the screen in Sky Obby?
Yes. If you leave one side of the screen you appear on the other side, which is a useful trick for reaching platforms on the far side of the screen without crossing the middle.
What ends a run in Sky Obby?
Falling off the bottom of the screen or touching a red neon brick ends a run at once. Your best height is saved in your browser, so every new run is a fresh attempt to beat it.
Is Sky Obby free to play?
Yes. Sky Obby is free to play on PlayQuestHQ in your browser, with no download and no sign-up. It works on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.

Is my Sky Obby progress saved?
