Tips for Typing Games
- Go for the lowest word first, because it lands soonest.
- Kids mode is perfect for learning where the letters are.
- Keep your fingers on the home row so you do not have to look down.
- Longer words score more points, and every level multiplies your points.
Typing Games for Kids and Beginners
Typing games turn practice into play. Start in Kids mode to learn the letter keys, move to Normal when you can type short words without looking, then try Hard for long words like thunderstorm and lighthouse.
Typing Practice Games vs a Typing Test
A typing game keeps practice fun and builds speed under a little pressure. A typing test gives you an exact number for your WPM and accuracy. Use both: play Word Rain to practice, then take a 1 minute test to see how much you have improved.
